With the opening of the new WNBA season just a few days away, the Indiana Fever have a critical question to answer: Who will get the final roster spot?
On Monday, the Fever released forward Jillian Alleyne, who was on a training camp contract, and guard Bree Hall, the No. 20 overall pick in this year's draft.
With Alleyne and Bree out, only three players are left to fight for the spot in the final lineup: Guard Jaeyln Brown and forwards Makayla Timpson and Yvonne Ejim. Brown is also on a training camp deal, while Timpson and Ejim were also drafted by the Fever this year at No. 19 and No. 33 overall, respectively.

Fever coach Stephanie White will have a tough decision to make. She, however, was clear about what she has seen in Timpson.
“The thing that impresses me the most about KK is just her poise,” said White in a report from IndyStar's Chloe Peterson. “She doesn't get rushed. She stays patient.
"If she doesn't know what to do, she doesn't get antsy. That's something you can't teach, and I'm really impressed with that.
While she would have to earn her minutes if she makes it to the opening day roster due to the Fever's loaded frontcourt, White acknowledged the 22-year-old Timpson's potential.
"Her activity level is really good on the defensive end of the floor," added White. "I think that when you look at her, and you watch her in college, you know she really is just scratching the surface of her ability.”
Timpson was a two-way star for Florida State, being named to the All-ACC First Team in her last two seasons and the ACC All-Defensive Team for three straight years.
She averaged 17.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 3.1 blocks per game in her senior year for the Seminoles.
