Expectations for the Indiana Fever have reached a sky high level heading into Caitlin Clark's sophomore season in the WNBA with coach Christie Sides' team coming off of a WNBA Playoffs appearance.
The offseason brings with it the usual training montages and rhetoric leading up to the opening week of the season, which falls on May 16, 2025.
On Thursday, Clark became engaged with Fever teammates as they went at each other in a playful way on Instagram.
Clark posted a picture of herself that drew a response from teammate Sophie Cunningham, causing the former Iowa Hawkeyes star to go on the offensive in a hilarious way.

"The tan will come...Everything else is perf," Clark's teammate Sophie Cunningham wrote in the comments section of her Instagram post with queen and fire emojis.
Clark got revenge fast as she playfully called out Cunningham and Lexie Hull telling them to focus more on basketball and less on their skin tones.
The Fever are set to open the preseason against the Washington Mystics on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Expectations continue to rise for what could be another historic season among Clark, Angel Reese, new number one overall pick Paige Bueckers and the rest of a league garnering more and more headlines by the day.
