SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Former Minnesota Viking C.J. Ham held his fourth annual youth football camp on Sunday, but he wasn’t the only Ham family member in attendance.

Ham’s wife Stephanie, who he met while he was playing football and she was playing soccer at Augustana was there helping out. The real star of the show though was the pairs youngest son, Trip, who was old enough to participate in the camp this year. Ham and Augustana head coach Jerry Olszewski both highlighted how special it has been to see the five year old developing a love for the game.

“It’s amazing to me now to see my five year old son really take a liking to football,” Ham said. “He’s out here having a great time. Usually he’d be out here for a couple minutes and he wants to go stand with dad or stand with mom but he’s out there having a blast.”

Ham looks forward to visiting Augustana and Sioux Falls with his family now that he is in retirement.
