According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Borussia Mönchengladbach has seen enough from interim coach Eugen Polanski to know he is the right person to lead the squad moving forward.
As such, Gladbach will offer Polanski a permanent deal:

, likely until summer 2028. Talks are close to being finalised.
Announcement could come during the international break. The positive results in recent games, as well as his football philosophy and meticulous working style, have impressed the club officials around Rouven Schröder. Furthermore, the squad is very enthusiastic.
Polanski has done a fine job in getting Gladbach’s season back on track. After a tumultuous start under Gerardo Seoane, Polanski has overseen a turnaround. Since taking over for Seoane on September 15th, Polanski has led Gladbach to three wins, two draws, and three losses across all competitions.
