I just can’t believe how bad green has been. He’s totally in his head.
Yup. No matter what anyone thought of him before this season he was never THIS awful. It’s crazy.

Bad loss. Can’t believe they couldn’t secure that rebound. Really ugly.

Hopefully Green can play out of this slump and not sink his trade value any further; I don't see him as a guy that fits this roster. I don't think he doesn't fits what Ott is trying to build.

39% shooting. That’ll do it.

Jalen is not playing like our 2nd best player.

Oso isn’t a starting center in this league, and Maluach doesn’t know what he’s doing

I think Ott's idea was to use this game to give our young guys as much as possible playing time, while still getting a win vs one of the worst teams in NBA right now. It backfired, due to way too much lack of cohesion. It's miracle we were this close to winning it at the very end.
Green became more energetic with his drives only late in the 4th, it's probably better that he comes off bench for a while. Coffey is a good veteran who deserves to be in there, and involved on O, more. Maluach for the final FT rebound was a mistake, Fleming'd have been better. Fleming's progress is very encouraging, and he might be used at C in MW's absence. Otherwise just hope Gillespie and RO's 3pt touches come back soon. We lost this game primarily due to bad O that led to transition points we were bad at defending.

of course maluach wasn't ready - and made mistakes - and chicago threw 2 bigs at him to make it worse but maluach wasn't why we lost - we lost before he ever touched the floor - our first unit came out cold - gillespie and oneale both started and neither did anything tonight - at least jalen showed some fight - wouldn't have been there at the end without his little scoring spree in the 4th

we just sucked tonight - nobody's ever seen a gillespie book jalen oneale oso lineup or what it might look like tomorrow vs the pelicans - zen master says well see

I know Green is struggling. On the other side of that trade with Houston, Brooks has been way better than I anticipated. I feel that part of thr trade was in our favor. I do think Man Man has shown some upside potential. Likely an off season with our training staff, and maybe training with an NBA Center will do him wonders and we get that year two jump.
