The Milwaukee Bucks have already made some major moves this offseason, with trading Giannis Antetokounmpo for a haul from the Miami Heat going a long way to revamp the Milwaukee roster.

But that doesn't mean that they should be done yet. Per a report from Keith Smith, the Bucks still have $33.2 million available in cap space for the upcoming season, though with a deal for Ousmane Dieng potentially in the works, that should eat into their available space some more.

That leaves them with a good amount of space to work with so that they can continue to be active in free agency and while they've already done a lot of work to add some depth and starting pieces to the team, now is the time for Milwaukee to stay aggressive and take advantage of the market while they still can.

KeithSmithNBA (@keithsmithnba.bsky.social)Bucks are still $33.2M under the luxury tax with an estimate plugged in for Ousmane Dieng. Roster spots are a bigger issue than spending power for Milwaukee right now, factoring in the trade with the Heat.
Admittedly, the Bucks have already done a lot to address their major issues and their starting five of Ryan Rollins, Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kyle Kuzma and Myles Turner is fully established along with some crucial depth in players like Kel'el Ware, Brayden Burries and Nate Ament, but they do have some other issues they need to address.

While the free agency market is relatively thin, the Bucks could add more strength arounf their forwards, particularly their power forwards.

A post-Antetokounmpo era has to mean that the Bucks have lost their most physical threat on the court and adding as much size as possible to supplement that loss.

Their back court core stands out as the most impressive aspect of the roster at this point and with Turner and Ware manning the five with Jericho Sims as another option, Milwaukee doesn't have much to do in terms of bulking out their roster either than by adding more wings that can help space the floor and add more of a defensive presence.

Now is the time for the Bucks to be as aggressive as possible with their roster and if they have cap space to use, they might as well use it now.

Bucks FA primer thread:
• 15 players under contract (w/Nance NG)
• $39m under tax w/$15m MLE, $5.5m BAE, $25.5M TPE
• Dieng and GTJ (gulp) are main FAs to watch
• Would guess if Herro/Turner deals happen it’d be later in FA (after initial waves). Kuz move less likely IMO. pic.twitter.com/GKn4XdhDVv

The direction that Milwaukee should take with any signing is to trend younger, as they've been doing with the rest of their team so far, and fully invest in their future to give head coach Taylor Jenkins as much to work with as possible when it comes to developing talent.

The time to rebuild is now and the Bucks can't afford to waste a single cent while they still have it.
