The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are about to close out on their OTA's and get ready for training camp.

Buccaneers Release Schedule For Open Practices

The Buccaneers released their schedule for some of the practices they have for training camp in July after they break for the summer, pending the conclusion of their OTAs and mandatory mini Camp, which will take place on June 16th and run through June 18th.

The practices that are available are open to the public and there are eight of which. The open practices will commence on July 30 and will also be held on July 31, Aug. 2-4, Aug. 6-7, and Aug. 9. Some practices will be for the general public, while others are for Krewe Members and others.

Open practices for training camp give the fans an opportunity to see their team in action and possibly interact with some of the players and staff. It's common for NFL teams to have open practices and even joint practices with other teams as well. They actually had nine open practices for training camp in 2025.

Buccaneers’ chief operating officer Brian Ford talked to reporters about their excitement for training camp and the opportunity to have fans there.

"We're counting down the days until we can welcome Buccaneers fans back to AdventHealth Training Center for the start of training camp and the 2026 season," said Ford. "Training camp is our first opportunity to share the excitement and momentum that our players, coaches, and front office have built throughout the offseason. The passion and energy that our fans bring to these practices play a crucial role in helping our players prepare for an exciting season that is on the horizon. Our entire organization is eager to get to work as we continue pursuing another championship."

Training camp is another opportunity for players to gear up for the season outside of OTAs. The process can be tough in the summer heat. Sometimes they have padded practices, sometimes not, with a bit of both.

Buccaneers 2025 Season Review

The Buccaneers' 2025 season was a bit of a downslide from where they were in 2024, when they went 10-7. But last year, Tampa Bay went 8-9 and concluded the season 2nd in the NFC South to the division leader, the Carolina Panthers. The Buccaneers also missed the playoffs. But they'll have the chance to revamp and get to the playoffs in 2026.
