Bryce Harper found out the gender to his upcoming child via a custom baseball bat

Philadelphia Phillies superstar first baseman and right fielder Bryce Harper found out the gender of his upcoming fourth child via a custom baseball bat given to him by Phillies teammate Trea Turner.

Harper sported a blue baseball bat at the plate during the team's Monday home game against the San Francisco Giants. The game broadcast indicated the blue bat was the really sweet way Harper found out his family is adding a baby boy.

Gender reveals are pretty common, but it's not every day you see an MLB player find out the gender to his upcoming child through a customized baseball bat (and then use the bat during a game).

Congrats are in order for the Harper family on the exciting news, as we're sure this blue baseball bat will find a prominent place in the Harper household for years to come.

They're having a boy!
