From Russia with love, the Bruins select a winger from the Lokomotiv program!
Kotkov stands at 6’0, 183 pounds and plays for Lokomotiv’s MHL team; Loko. He was a pretty solid player in both his 2024 and 2025 seasons; being nearly a point per game in both years. Kotkov is noted for his speed and flashes of skill, but consistency has been a point of pain for him. He was ranked all over the place, but most had him slightly higher than his eventual draft placement, so maybe he’s found value?
