The Boston Bruinsissued qualifying offers to four of their restricted free agents on Monday.

Luke Cavallin, Riley Duran, Ivan Ivan, and Matt Poitras have received qualifying offers, and their RFA rights remain with the Bruins.

Jordan Harris, Alexis Gendron, and Max Wanner did not and will become unrestricted free agents on Wednesday, July 1.

Don Sweeney would not budge on revealing any players who were receiving qualifying offers before the draft, and specifically did not comment on Fabian Lysell, who was traded to Colorado three days later. On the other side of that deal was Ivan Ivan. The Bruins qualifying the 23-year-old was no surprise, as Sweeney announced that he was receiving an offer after the trade.

Matt Poitras, who also received a qualifying offer, spent the majority of the 2025-26 season in Providence. The Bruins called him up to the NHL in February, and he scored at the Stadium Series in Tampa. He rounded out the season in Providence with 20 points in the last 30 regular-season games (5-15–20) and four points (1-3–4) in four playoff games. Poitras has played in 69 NHL games and has 27 points (7-20–27).

Cavallin, the only goalie on the list, played in both Providence and Maine this past season. He went 6-2-0 in Providence and 18-10-3 in Maine, then went 5-3-2 with a 2.02 GAA during the Mariners’ playoff run. He won the 2025 Kelly Cup MVP as a member of the Trois-Rivières Lions before signing a one-year entry-level contract with the Bruins.

Duran, a native of Woburn, MA, had 19 points (7-12–19) with Providence this past season.

Jordan Harris, the only other RFA who saw NHL minutes this season, will hit the market again. He was limited to eight games this season largely due to a right ankle fracture. When he returned, he could not crack the lineup. The 25-year-old Haverhill native has played in 172 career games with the Canadiens, Blue Jackets, and Bruins.

The Bruins traded for Gendron in March as part of a minor-league swap with the Flyers. Wanner was acquired in the Trent Frederic trade.
