After scoring 27 points on 7-for-18 shooting in his Houston Rockets debut, Bruce Thornton looked to follow up that performance Saturday against the Toronto Raptors on the second night of a back-to-back. While Thornton didn't quite match his scoring output from Friday's game, the former Ohio State Buckeye once again showed the polish that made him a steal at the beginning of the second round.

In 32 minutes, Thornton scored 17 points to go along with six rebounds, six assists and a whopping five steals. Although he missed 11 shots for the second straight night (6-for-17 shooting), Thornton converted on 50% of his 3-pointers and is now 6-for-14 from beyond the arc in his first two games.

Although Thornton already figures to be in the Rockets rotation this upcoming season, the opportunity to develop under veteran guards like Marcus Smart and Fred VanVleet will only benefit his career for seasons to come.
