Archbishop Hoban is an Ohio high school football powerhouse located in Akron.

This fall, and in the next couple years, they could have a fascinating QB-WR combination that brings back legendary last names from the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants.

In the running to be Hoban's QB: Izzy Cribbs, the son of Browns legendary return man Josh Cribbs.

And conceptually out wide running routes for him? Mario Manningham Jr., the son of the Giants' Super Bowl hero by that same name.

Manningham Jr. is a member of the Class of 2029 who just got a Michigan offer.

Cribbs, whose full name is Israel, is a Division I prospect in the Class of 2028.

Good chance his high school quarterback this fall at Archbishop Hoban is Josh Cribbs’ son.

Cribbs recently shared some of his own 7-on-7 highlights:

At a place like Hoban, there's always going to be competition for spots, so nothing is a given.

But a Cribbs to Manningham touchdown connection would be quite the thing -- especially if it persists over the next few falls.

There'll certainly be some high-profile fathers nearby watching their sons follow in their footsteps.
