The Cleveland Browns' new look offensive line could include two rookies at some point this season, maybe at the beginning of the season. The team took Spencer Fano with the ninth overall pick, hoping he is the answer at left tackle the team has been looking for since Joe Thomas retired.

The team took Parker Brailsford in the fifth round, and based on his skill set and fit in Todd Monken’s scheme, he could find himself as the team's starting center at some point this year. Both Fano and Brailsford are top-level athletes with great movement skills.

New head coach Todd Monken spoke to the media after Wednesday's OTA practice and discussed the rookie offensive linemen, both of whom got reps with the first-team offense.

"The idea is to kind of ease them in as they’re learning, but the other guy’s got to play better. I mean, there was times with the ones – not good enough. So, you’d like to ease them, you’d love to ease them in, but eventually the easing has to end.”
