A week away from the 2025 NFL draft, it feels increasingly likely the Cleveland Browns will use the No. 2 overall pick on Colorado receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter.
Per ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi, Cleveland general manager Andrew Berry repeated his thought that Hunter is best suited for receiver, but he wouldn't limit the possibility of allowing him to play both ways. Additionally, Berry doesn't think Hunter needs to play both sides to be worthy of the second-overall pick.
During this press conference, Berry compared Hunter to MLB sensation Shohei Ohtani because of how dominant Ohtani can be as a pitcher and a hitter. All of Berry's high praise for Hunter makes it seem like the dual-threat has a good chance to be called when the Browns step to the podium next Thursday.
Hunter could be argued as the best receiver and best cornerback in the draft, and the Browns have a dire need for offensive playmakers outside of Jerry Jeudy and David Njoku. With Hunter's potential to be something unlike anything seen in the NFL before, he would make for a very exciting option at number two.

Berry added that he doesn’t think he needs to play both sides of the ball to be worth the No. 2 pick.
