The Cleveland Browns saw some of their best success in the first season under head coach Kevin Stefanski. In that 2020 season, the Browns won their AFC Wildcard matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers and were on the verge of the AFC Championship game.

Now, however, a key member of that team and Pro Bowler has taken a shot at his former head coach. Despite the success of that team, former Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry seemingly has lost all love for his former head coach. The former Cleveland receiver went on podcast recently and did not have kind things to say about his experience with the now head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.

Here is what Landry had to say:

“You expect most of these coaches that are younger to be more personable, more relatable with their players, and most cases it just doesn’t work out that way.”

That's not all the former Browns WR had to say!

Just a few days after Landry made the above comments about Stefanski, he went on another podcast with Leonard Fournette and continued to rake his former head coach through the coals. In fact, Landry stated that he "100 percent" knew that Landry passed off play-calling duties to offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt, then took duties back once the offense got it together.

"Only thing he got going for him is two-time Coach of the Year. He's not able to get it done as a playcaller and putting it off on somebody else. Team gets success and he takes over playcalling again."

This shift in play-caller was never reported.

Now, is it true? We may never know. Besides, once Landry was released by the Browns after the 2021 season, he went on to play just one more year in the NFL. Landry had an injury-riddled and unproductive season with the New Orleans Saints after leaving Cleveland, and did not sign with another team after that. There is a chance that Landry is just unsatisfied with the way his NFL career ended, and specifically his time in Cleveland.

Anyway, we'll see how things pan out for Stefanski in Atlanta!
