Perhaps the Denver Broncos won't make a "splash" at running back, after all.

Kenneth Walker has joined the Kansas City Chiefs, Tyler Allgeier landed with the Arizona Cardinals and Travis Etienne has agreed to join the New Orleans Saints. Those were arguably the top three running backs on the market this year.

The Broncos were "in on Etienne" before he opted to join the Saints, according to The Athletic's Nick Kosmider. Interestingly, Etienne's arrival could make Alvin Kamara expendable for New Orleans. If he does become available, Kamara could be a name to watch as a potential candidate to reunite with coach Sean Payton.

Among the RBs still available as of the time of publication are J.K. Dobbins and Rico Dowdle. Dobbins remains "very much in the mix" to return to Denver, according to DNVR's Zac Stevens.

With Walker, Allgeier and Etienne off the board, Dobbins and Dowdle are the two names to watch — and Kamara could soon join them. The Broncos seem likely to add a running back to pair with RJ Harvey this spring.
