The Denver Broncos addressed their long-term depth at tight end by selecting Justin Joly (fifth round) and Dallen Bentley (seventh round) in April's draft.

Joly will compete for a rotational role right away, but Bentley is probably on the roster bubble going into training camp. Both players could be key tight ends for the team in 2027 and beyond, though.

Evan Engram is back as the primary receiving tight end, and Adam Trautman has returned as the top blocking tight end. Nate Adkins is perhaps underappreciated by fans for his versatile Swiss Army knife role.

Here's the projected depth chart going into camp:

  • TE1: Evan Engram
  • TE2: Adam Trautman
  • TE3: Justin Joly
  • FB: Adam Prentice, Nate Adkins
  • Depth: Lucas Krull, Dallen Bentley, Caleb Lohner
