Broncos Wire's 91-man offseason roster series continues today with a look at second-year cornerback Jaden Robinson, No. 33. (Note: the NFL lists Robinson as a "first-year" player because he does not have an accrued season of at least six games, but he's entering his second year in the league.)
Before the Broncos: Robinson (6-0, 193 pounds) was a part of the COVID class of collegiate athletes who had the option to play an extra year of sports because of the pandemic. Robinson spent six years in college (2019-24) for the Oregon State Beavers, playing in 44 games throughout his time in Corvallis, Oregon. Robinson ended up making 89 total tackles (62 solo, 27 assisted, three tackles for loss), 11 pass deflections, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Broncos tenure: Robinson signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent after the 2025 NFL draft. After failing to make the 53-man roster last summer, Robinson spent his rookie season on the team's practice squad. He was re-signed to a futures contract in January.
Chances to make the 53-man roster: Long shot. Robinson is probably fighting to make the practice squad. Competition everywhere on the Broncos' roster runs deep in 2026, making Robinson's job that much harder. He will be in for a huge fight come training camp and preseason this summer.
