Denver Broncos outside linebacker Nik Bonittolimped off the practice field and into the locker room on Tuesday. Reporters at practice tweeted that Bonitto appeared to have suffered some kind of left leg injury. After practice, Broncos coach Sean Payton did not want to provide an update other than to say Bonitto will be "fine."
Elsewhere on the injury front, center Luke Wattenberg (undisclosed) did not practice on Tuesday after exiting Monday's session. Denver tight end Caleb Lohner (knee) also remains sidelined and cornerback Jaden Robinson (undisclosed) worked on a side field. Broncos receiver Courtland Sutton got a veteran rest day.
Now, the good news: outside linebacker Dondrea Tillman (hamstring) upped his participation after working on a side field yesterday. Tillman still didn't participate in team drills.
Denver has two players on injury lists: offensive lineman Nick Gargiulo (knee) on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list and linebacker Jordan Turner (unknown) on the non-football injury (NFI) list.
The club has four more days of practice scheduled this week. We will continue to provide coverage of each session on Broncos Wire as the team prepares for preseason to kick off next week.
