Tyler Badie's coming back for another season.

The Denver Broncos have placed a one-year, exclusive rights free agent tender on Badie ahead of the start of NFL free agency, according to multiple reports. The ERFA tender is worth the league minimum. For a player with two accrued seasons like Badie, the minimum salary is $1.075 million.

Badie (5-8, 197 pounds) entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri with the Baltimore Ravens in 2022, and Denver poached him off Baltimore's practice squad in December of his rookie season. He scored a touchdown on his first career touch in his NFL debut, but was relegated to the practice squad in 2023.

Badie then missed most of the 2024 campaign with a back injury. He returned in 2025 and beat out Jaleel McLaughlin for the third-string running back role, thanks in large part to his proficiency as a pass blocker. The 26-year-old running back rushed eight times for 23 yards while adding 19 receptions for 141 yards in 16 games last fall.

Badie is now set to remain with the club for his fifth season in the NFL, but the Broncos are not done adding at running back. Denver's expected to "make a splash" at the position when NFL free agency opens next week.
