The Denver Broncos wrapped up the first week of organized activities (OTAs) with their third practice on Thursday, and a second round of OTAs is scheduled for next week.
While we wait for players to return to the field, we're taking a quick look at our way-too-early projected starting lineup for the Broncos ahead of the 2026 campaign. Note that this projection can (and likely will) change, pending the results of positional battles during training camp and preseason this summer.
Denver will have three preseason games in August, then the club will have until Aug. 30 to set a 53-man roster. Before the roster battles heat up, here are the (projected) starting lineups.
It's essentially the same starting offense as last year, with Waddle being the new arrival (and a very notable new arrival at that). Waddle should provide an instant spark to Sean Payton's offense.
Denver's one big departure on defense this offseason was John Franklin-Myers. For now, we have Sai'vion Jones penciled in as JFM's replacement, but Eyioma Uwazurike and rookie Tyler Onyedim will also get opportunities to win the job.
Denver appears poised to run it back with the same specialists from last season.
Up next, the Broncos will hold a second round of OTAs from June 9-11, followed by a mandatory minicamp held from June 16-18. Players will then have a summer break until training camp begins, presumably in late July.
