With training camp practices set to begin on Friday, we're rolling out updated depth chart projections for each Denver Broncos position group this week. Today, we're starting with special teams.

Wil Lutz is back as the team's kicker and second-year punter Jeremy Crawshaw has also returned. Neither player is currently facing competition on the 91-man offseason roster.

There is competition at long snapper after the Broncos signed Luke Basso to challenge Mitchell Fraboni this spring. Fraboni still remains the favorite, and Basso might be an option if injuries pop up later in the season.

Finally, at returner, Marvin Mims has two All-Pro selections on his résumé, so it will be tough to unseat him. Denver did sign a pair of undrafted wide receivers who could push for that job, however.

Fans should note that this is a projected depth chart, not an official depth chart from the club. Denver won't be required to publish a depth chart until preseason begins in August.
