The Denver Broncos have yet to make an outside signing (at least, as of the time of publication), but there is still one disgruntled wide receiver who could be a game-changer for Denver on the trade market.
"I'd be interested to see if the price drops in A.J. Brown, if that's still a possibility," NFL Network's Brian Baldinger said during an appearance on DNVR Broncos on Wednesday. "I know there is interest on both sides. Maybe tepid, but some interest; at least enough to inquire what the asking price is."
Throughout 2025, Brown found himself unhappy with the number of targets he was receiving from Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. So much so, Brown took to social media several times with some of his gripes. The trade rumors concerning Brown began in earnest across the league after the Eagles were eliminated from playoff contention.
Last week, it was revealed that Eagles GM Howie Roseman finally came up with an open asking price on the star wide receiver, and boy, it ain't cheap.
To trade for Brown, the Broncos would have to give up significant draft capital, and possibly even a player to make the deal work. Denver's moves early in free agency point to confidence in a roster that made it to the AFC Championship in 2025.

My take: If traded to the Broncos, and still not getting the amount of desired targets, Brown's negativity may poison a close-knit locker room and incur the wrath of coach Sean Payton, who does not tolerate me-first-type players.
For now, Brown remains an Eagle. Whether it stays that way remains to be seen. We will continue to follow all the latest news on signings (and potential trades) on Broncos Wire.
