KANSAS CITY – The Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals are in for a long day Saturday, April 4 as they play a split doubleheader at Kauffman Stadium resulting from Friday night's postponement.
Right-handers Chad Patrick (0-0, 1.80) and Brandon Sproat (0-0, 21.00) start Games 1 and 2 for the Brewers, respectively, while right-handers Luinder Avila (season debut) and Seth Lugo (1-0, 0.00) counter for the Royals.
There will be no 27th man for the opener; the teams will announce their additions prior to the nightcap. However, right-hander Logan Henderson was in the Brewers' clubhouse prior to Game 1.
Time: 1:10 p.m. and 6:10 p.m.
