Breaking: FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund agree to deal for Karim Adeyemi

According to a report from transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, FC Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund have formally agreed to a deal for German attacker Karim Adeyemi:

Deal agreed club to club for €22m plus €7m add-ons based on title winning and also appearances.

Adeyemi only wanted Barça and will sign a five year deal in blaugrana.

Sky Germany’s Patrick Berger confirmed the news as well:

BREAKING: Borussia Dortmund and Barça have reached a TOTAL AGREEMENT for the transfer of Karim Adeyemi (24/) in the last 45 minutes.

€22m fixed fee + €9m in add-ons (considered highly achievable).
#BVB have secured a 35% (!!!) sell-on clause.
Adeyemi will earn €6m net per season on a five-year contract.

FC Barcelona boss Hansi Flick appears to have gotten his man and now Borussia Dortmund will have a different look entering the 2026/27 season.

Now, the question becomes if BVB will be able to put together a lineup that can challenge Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga this season and how the Black and Yellows will invest this money?
