The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed another one of their draft picks, this time it is arguably their most important one.
On Friday, ahead of the team's rookie minicamp, Emeka Egbuka and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers agreed to terms on a rookie contract for the former Ohio State Buckeye wide receiver. The team did not disclose the terms of the deal when it was announced. Most rookie contracts have the base salary set by the player's draft position, but the guaranteed money can be negotiated by agents and players.
Egbuka was drafted 19th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft in a move that shocked some folks in the NFL and media world.
Despite that, everyone seemingly is now on board with the pick, just as the team is onboard with four of their six draft picks after signing them to their rookie deals. The rookie minicamp will take place from May 9 through May 11, and the team will get a first look at all of them in the pewter.
