What's the latest on San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk? Since the calendar flipped to June 1 and San Francisco did not release Aiyuk, he's sent out multiple messages to varying degrees. Whether it's criticizing or taunting the 49ers or showing his affinity for the Washington Commanders, Aiyuk has used social media to create headlines.

On Monday, he was back at it again. This time, commenting on a Commanders' social media post involving his close friend, Jayden Daniels.

Washington held its annual media day on Monday, with players in full uniform and participating in team-related photo shoots and media sessions.

Something interesting recently occurred involving Aiyuk and the 49ers. He deleted two videos on his Instagram in which he criticized the 49ers, even calling them stupid. Some took it as a sign that there might have been progress between the two sides and that San Francisco would release Aiyuk. That doesn't appear to be the case, as the 49ers are in no rush to make a move right now.
