It has been a tough 2026 NASCAR Cup Series season for Brad Keselowski. Entering 2026, Keselowski broke his leg on a ski trip with his family. While the return to racing was smooth, the driver of the No. 6 car now sits 19th in the standings with a 43-point deficit to the Chase bubble. However, what is the latest on Keselowski's lengthy leg recovery?
Keselowski said on X that his leg is doing "really well," adding more updates on the current state of the injury. Keselowski's nerves have started to reconnect, and he is fully walking again. The RFK Racing driver noted a lot of progress over the last three weeks, with a "100% recovery" feeling possible.
The leg injury was nowhere near fully healed when NASCAR waved the flag for the 2026 Daytona 500, and Keselowski has been battling it all season. While the injury isn't an excuse for what has been occurring on the race track this year, it is encouraging that Keselowski is having substantial progress in July.
