Don't miss out on a single winner from this year's Athlete of the Week series!
As a reminder, the biggest change this year is that The Post will have two athletes of the week, and thus, two different polls. We will have a boys athlete and a girls athlete named each week. You may vote in both.
The polls will be open until noon each Friday.
Scroll down for winners from the latest poll and don't forget to check back each week for the latest nominees!
Have someone you'd like to nominate? Send an email to Alex Peterman with The Palm Beach Post sports at [email protected] including the athlete's name and stats by Sunday at 6 p.m. each week.
Smith took first place in two individual events as well as his relay races to lead the Lions to the Christian School Invitational championship.
The senior has since placed first in the 50-yard backstroke, his strongest event, at Indian River.
Week 3 winner: King's Academy's Asher Smith
The senior ran a 5:34.1 to take eighth place in the Indian River Fairgrounds Invite.
Gast was a highly-touted cross country runner entering this year, breaking 17 minutes for the first time at the PBC Championships to take fourth last season before posting a personal record of 16:23.00 to win a district championship, his first varsity XC race victory.
Week 2 winner: King's Academy's Timothy Gast
Phipps led the Broncos with 126 yards and a touchdown on seven catches during a close loss to Pahokee in Week 1.
He has accumulated 164 yards on 12 catches, adding two touchdowns this year as one of Chance Routson's top targets on offense.
Week 1 winner: Palm Beach Central's Jayden Phipps
