This just in, NHL Player Safety has fined both Montreal Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj and Buffalo Sabres forward Beck Malenstyn.

Xhekaj's fine comes for sucker punching Sabres forward Sam Carrick in the final moments of last night's 6-2 win for the Habs.

As for Malenstyn, he absolutely OBLITERATED Habs goalie Jakub Dobes in the second period.
