People who grow up in and around the City of Boston tend to gravitate quite heavily toward the sport of basketball and the Boston Celtics in particular. And given the storied history of the ball club, it is not very hard to see why. But fans of the Celtics might be surprised to know that Boston assistant coach Matt Reynolds is a local, having spent his formative years in Lexington.
The Celtics assistant recently sat down with NBC Sports Boston broadcaster Drew Carter over dinner at at Jana Grill and Bakery in Watertown to talk about growing up in the area, and the path to his current job, now a 12-year relationship as part of their 'Courtside and Cityside' segments.
