Juventus have signed teen-aged forward Kerim Alajbegovic on a five-year contract until 2031 from Germany's Bayer Leverkusen, the Serie A club said on Sunday.
No details were given but Leverkusen reportedly receive €30 million ($34.2 million) plus add-ons for the 18-year-old.
Alajbegovic has 11 Bosnia-Herzegovina caps and played and scored at the recent World Cup.
Alajbegovic started in the academy of Bundesliga club Cologne in his city of birth before moving to neighbours Leverkusen in 2021. Leverkusen sold him to RB Salzburg last year but made use of a buy-back clause of €8 million.
He never played for Leverkusen's first team and Juventus have reportedly promised him a role in the starting XI, something that Leverkusen would not guarantee him.
