Borussia Dortmund’s Cole Campbell to join Elversberg
Borussia Dortmund’s Cole Campbell (20) has reached an agreement to join newly promoted Elversberg, according to a report by Sky Germany, with BVB retaining a buy-back clause in the deal.
Campbell’s medical has been scheduled for this week, with the American set to sign a four-year contract until 2030.
The winger joined BVB in 2022 and has played for the U19 side and second team, with only five league appearances for the senior side. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Hoffenheim, making five Bundesliga appearances.
Sky Germany previously reported that Scottish side Celtic are interested in signing Campbell; however, Dortmund has chosen to send the player to Elversberg.
