Is Bobby Okereke a fit for the Las Vegas Raiders in free agency at this juncture of the offseason? The short answer is yes.

Las Vegas signed Nakobe Dean and Quay Walker to be the team’s starting inside linebackers for next season, but depth is still needed and Okereke is a player capable of making a discernible impact on the defense.

The 29-year-old was named a Giants captain in each of his three seasons with the team from 2023-25. The Raiders stand to gain from having a player that is experienced at leading a talented defensive unit the way Okereke did with the Giants throughout his tenure with the team.

Last season the former third round pick out of Stanford recorded 143 tackles along with two interceptions, a sack and six passes defended. He showed that he was capable of contributing meaningfully for New York, making him a great potential addition for Las Vegas’ second line of defense.
