Toronto Blue Jays hat

The Toronto Blue Jays certainly are a bit busy right now.

Earlier in the week, the Blue Jays signed former first-round pick Daz Cameron to a minor league deal. Now, they have swung a deal with the Minnesota Twins. The Blue Jays agreed to terms on a deal to send right-handed pitcher Tommy Nance to the Twins in exchange for Ryan Sprock, per ESPN's Alden González and Jeff Passan.

"News: The Twins, in the thick of the playoff race and looking to beef up their bullpen, are acquiring RH Tommy Nance from the Blue Jays, sources tell me and Jeff Passan," González wrote. "Sources: INF Ryan Sprock is going to the Blue Jays in exchange. The Twins will also get international pool space money in return."

Sprock was an eighth-round pick by the Twins in 2025 and has seen action in Class-A and High-A so far this season in his first full season in professional baseball. He's batting .297 on the season in 67 games with five homers, 38 RBIs, and 14 stolen bases.
