The Buffalo Bills made a series of signings on Thursday, March 26, which included adding a new pair of offensive linemen to the rotation. Guard/center Austin Corbett and center Lloyd Cushenberry III have each signed one-year deals to play for the Bills in 2026.
Corbett was at One Bills Drive early in the week as part of his free-agent visit, which appears to have been fruitful for both sides. He’s a versatile o-lineman with 78 starts on his NFL resume in eight seasons. Corbett could find himself in a competition for the starting left guard position, with Buffalo having lost David Edwards to the New Orleans Saints early in free agency.
Cushenberry is perhaps a familiar name to football fans, having been named to the 2020 Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team after starting 16 games for the Denver Broncos. He bring plenty of size, standing 6’4” and weighing 315 pounds — but Cushenberry also brings plenty starting experience of his own, though more recently he dealt with injuries as part of the Tennessee Titans’ offensive line. Cushenberry is likely vying for a backup role at this stage, given his position and the fact that the Bills were able to bring back center Connor McGovern on a multi-year deal.
