Bills rookie WR already seeing Joe Brady benefits originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
Life for an NFL rookie can be tough, and when it comes to Buffalo Bills receiver Skyler Bell, it's even harder when you're in your own head.
And as the Bills went about their rookie minicamp, Bell, a fourth-round pick, was doing his thing when he suddenly dropped a couple of passes.
That isn't out of the ordinary, but Bell was clearly in his head.
And for CBS Sports' Carter Bahns, in his latest piece on what he learned from rookie minicamp, it was that Brady took Bell aside to calm him down.
"He was just telling me just to be myself and stop overthinking," Bell said via CBS Sports. "I was just in my head a little bit and getting jitters and things like that. And he was just telling me just be yourself and once you're here, you're here for a reason."
"Bell was a consensus All-American last season at UConn and was responsible for four drops on 141 targets, per PFF, so he is typically sure-handed."

Bell set for big workload in Year 1?
I wouldn't say "big," but Bell will get on the field and be utilized by Brady.
Given the noise around Josh Allen and his weapons, Bell is going to need to be productive when he's on the field.
Khalil Shakir, D.J. Moore, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, and Tyrell Shavers are all in front of him on the depth chart, but Buffalo has strength in numbers.
Bell likely won't get high snap counts, at least initially, which is why he'll need to make the most of his opportunities when they come his way. So, drops can't be part of his makeup in Year 1.
