The Buffalo Bills have been getting a lot of bang for their buck from O’Cyrus Torrence. Now the league is paying him back.
Torrence earned an additional $1,091,163 through the NFL’s performance-based pay program, the 17th-highest total in the league, the NFL announced. The program rewards players who log significant playing time relative to their salary.
The guard entering his fourth season has been one of the Bills’ most reliable players since entering the league.
Torrence played 1,129 offensive snaps in 2025, accounting for 100% of Buffalo’s offensive plays for the second time in three seasons. He has appeared in all 51 games in his career, starting 50.
A second-round pick in 2023, Torrence has led the Bills in total snaps in each of his first three seasons while playing on a rookie contract worth $6.22 million over four years.
The NFL distributed more than $542 million in performance-based pay for the 2025 season. For the first time in program history, the top 25 players each earned at least $1 million through the program. Former Chicago Bears cornerback Nahshon Wright led all players with a payout of $1,441,397.
Torrence, 26, is entering the final year of his rookie deal and is set to earn a base salary of $3.9 million in 2026. He could be in line for a big payday, either through a contract extension with the Bills or as a free agent in 2027. Spotrac estimates Torrence's his current market value at $13.1 million annually.
He was named to the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2023 and has committed just 10 total penalties in his career (eight holding, two false starts) despite his heavy workload.
