Fresh off a Week 16 showdown last season, two AFC rivals will host a joint practice session this year during the 2026 preseason.
The Buffalo Bills will travel to Berea, Ohio, where the Cleveland Browns will host their training camp, for a joint preseason practice session. The news was reported initially on Sunday night before being confirmed by the Bills' president of football operations/general manager, Brandon Beane, at the NFL League Meetings on Monday.
"We have tentatively lined it up for a one-day," Beane said. "We are looking at potentially Week 2 of the preseason in Cleveland."
The joint practice comes after the two franchises squared off on the gridiron last season, with the Bills knocking off the Browns 23-20 at Huntington Bank Field in December. The Bills finished the season 13-6, advancing to the Divisional Round of the Playoffs before losing to the Broncos. The Browns would finish the season 5-12.
Both will enter the joint practice with a different head coach than when they last met on the gridiron, as the Bills fired head coach Sean McDermott following the season and promoted offensive coordinator Joe Brady to the role, while the Browns parted ways with Kevin Stefanski and hired Todd Monken to take over on the sidelines.
