The buzz around North Carolina football is at an all-time high with the legendary Bill Belichick taking over as head coach following his successful NFL tenure.
However, recent attention has shifted away from football and toward Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, who appears to have a prominent role within the Tar Heels' football program.
The spotlight intensified after a CBS Mornings aired an interview with Belichick on Sunday, which turned awkward when Hudson interjected from the producers' table during a question about how the couple met, saying, “We’re not talking about this.”
The exchange sparked significant backlash over how the situation was handled, and things took an even stranger turn on Tuesday when Hudson retweeted several supportive comments on X, including one that was highly controversial
Hudson retweeted, "Bill looks like he wants to reach across and strangle the life out of the interviewer. I kinda wish he did."
This particular comment put Belichick and Hudson under fire from fans who disagreed with her approach on social media.
"Something is seriously off with that girl. Blink twice if you need help Bill," a fan said.
"It was very odd. He acted like he didn’t know why he was on social media. And then the significant other chiming in from the side saying he can’t talk about something? Weird," another fan posted.
"What was he thinking doing that interview. Weird," someone else added.
One more fan commented, "Jordan calling the shots even mid interview and Bill cowering to her is hilarious."

The couple met roughly three years ago, and while they’ve largely kept their relationship out of the public eye, since the Tar Heels began spring practices, Hudson has been spotted numerous times.
Yet, the basis of the CBS interview was meant to focus on Belichick’s new book about his father’s time at Navy (hence the ripped Navy pullover he wore).
The conversation change visibly upset Hudson, prompting her to walk off. The interview had to be salvaged and delayed by 30 minutes. There were also plans for a second interview between the two parties, which has since been reportedly canceled.
