Berlin Brothersvalley High School rising senior guard Coral Prosser verbally committed to play basketball at George Washington University Tuesday morning on social media.
“Thank you to the Berlin community, coaches and teammates for all of the love and support through my youth and high school games,” Prosser said on X.
“Thank you to the SLAAM organization for giving me the opportunity to play on many talented teams and for so many amazing coaches. Thank you to Coach Jamal, Coach T, Coach Tom and the rest of the SLAAM coaches and teammates for always pushing me to become a better player. And especially thank you to my parents, Pace, Bryn and my entire family for making so many sacrifices to give me this amazing opportunity.”
The 5-foot-8 Prosser led Berlin Brothersvalley to the 2025 and 2026 PIAA Class 2A championships. She was ranked as the 87th recruit in the country by ESPN in June.
Prosser had 34 NCAA Division I offers to choose from, including the Air Force Academy, Appalachian State, Boston University, Bowling Green State, Cleveland State, Coastal Carolina, Colgate, Columbia, Dayton, Delaware, Drexel, Duquesne, East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Fairfield, Florida Atlantic, Harvard, Iona, Kent State, La Salle, Lipscomb, Mercyhurst, Manhattan, Marist, Massachusetts, Monmouth, Rhode Island, Robert Morris, Sacred Heart, St. Joseph’s, Texas A&M, Toledo and Yale.
George Washington is led by coach Ganiyat Adeduntan. The Revolutionaries compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference. George Washington went 18-18 during the 2025-26 season with a 7-11 mark in the Atlantic 10.
As a junior, Prosser scored 643 points (20.7 per game), grabbed 316 rebounds (10.2), dished out 138 assists (4.5), came up with 109 steals and totaled 30 blocked shots. Prosser was named to the all-state first team as a junior and a sophomore, while earning a spot on the second team as a freshman.
Also a first-team all-state softball selection in 2026, Prosser led the Mountaineers to three straight Inter-County Conference and four consecutive District 5 basketball titles. Berlin Brothersvalley won the past two District 5 softball crowns in Class 1A, reaching the 2026 PIAA semifinals.
Prosser comes from a basketball family. Parents Tanner, previously the boys’ coach at Berlin Brothersvalley, and Rachel, currently the girls’ mentor, both played hoops at Grove City College.
Rachel also played softball in college.
Her older brother, Pace, now plays basketball at Division I Siena University after attending Division II Gannon for two years, leading the Golden Knights to the 2026 national title. Younger sister, Bryn, is a rising junior at Berlin Brothersvalley and was named to the 2025-26 all-state second team.
