Wednesday will be quite the day for high school basketball fans in Berks County.
After a couple of thrilling games on Monday, including a last-second game-winning shot for Exeter, the fields are set for the boys and girls semifinals at Santander Arena.
Exeter, the BCIAA Division 2 winners and the tourney’s fifth seed, knocked off defending champion and fourth-seed Wilson 43-41 in one quarterfinal on Monday when Aidan Dauble hit the game-winning basket with 1.1 second left, while second-seed Muhlenberg squeaked past seventh-seeded Wyomissing 60-57.
In the other quarterfinal games on Monday, top-seed and Division 1 winner Berks Catholic defeated eighth-seeded Schuylkill Valley 58-42, and third-seeded Reading High rolled over sixth-seeded Antietam 69-43.
That sets up a quadruple header Wednesday starting at 4 p.m. at Santander with the Gov. Mifflin vs. Exeter girls semifinal first up. The Berks Catholic-Exeter boys semifinal is at 5:30 p.m., followed by Wilson vs. Reading High in the other girls semifinals and the night ends with Muhlenberg and Reading High in the second boys semifinal.

Aidan Dauble scored 16 points, including the game-winning basket with 1.1 second left, as the Eagles (15-8) knocked out the defending champions.
The game was tied at 34 entering the final period, but Exeter pulled out the win by outscoring the Bulldogs 9-7. Dauble had four points, Jackson Kozik and Jayden Ware each had 2 and Braylon Reinert made a free throw. Reinert had 11 points in the game, including six in the first quarter when Exeter took a 12-11 lead after one period.
The game was tied at halftime and at the end of third quarter.
For Wilson (15-8), Peter Kelfalla scored 16 points and Michael Glover had 10. Wilson will qualify for the District 3 Class 6A tournament. The Bulldogs finished fourth in BCIAA Division 1 this year.
Exeter is trying to win its first BCIAA title. The conference was formed in the 2003-04 school year.

After going scoreless in the first quarter, All-State guard Kingston McKoy scored 29 points to lead the Saints over the Panthers.
Berks Catholic (20-2) led 12-10 after the first quarter, but McKoy scored six points and Gavin Welker had 8 of his 16 points as the Saints went to the locker room ahead 26-18.
McKoy had 10 points in the third quarter and the Saints had a 42-32 lead with one quarter to play.
For the Panthers (14-9), Josiah Urbaez, Zachary Reeser and Logan Commauf each had 10 points.
