There’s a bit of unusual hype around Cincinnati Bengals rookie Landon Robinson.

After all, Robinson was the 226th pick in the seventh round of the draft.

Still, Rokbison arrived with fan interest because he was a fan of the team. Plus, it helps that when Bengals fans hear “undersized pass-rushing interior defender,” they tend to think of a guy named Geno Atkins.

How about franchise legend Tim Krumrie? The rookie Robinson just got to meet him and shared what the iconic classic defender had to say.

"He said one day he wants to see Dexter and I on the field at the same time. 'That's a vision I want to see one day. So keep working and go get it,'" Robinson told Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com. "Just keep working. You have all the tools that you need. Just keep working. Just keep going."

Robinson will need to make the final 53 to ever have a chance of stepping on the field with Dexter Lawrence.

But opportunity? It’s right there: Robinson has the traits to push back-of-depth-chart guys like McKinnely Jackson and perhaps even Kris Jenkins over the summer.

If nothing else, Robinson continues to be a name to watch: He certainly has big names like Krumrie watching out for him.
