The Cincinnati Bengals got another key piece of the free agency puzzle solved to start the week.
There, the Bengals re-signed Dalton Risner, a popular move with the fanbase. More importantly, the signing got the big nod of approval from Joe Burrow.
Previously, the Bengals had already re-signed names like Mitchell Tinsley to futures deals.
Here’s a quick refresher on the free agents still set to hit the open market.
Of these names, the Bengals could prioritize defensive end Joseph Ossai, depending on what his market looks like.
One thing the Bengals don’t figure to do, at least right now, is franchise tag or heavily pursue a reunion with Trey Hendrickson. Years of contract drama, his age and injury from last year, plus the presence of younger guys at the position, make it seem unlikely.d
The Bengals would like Joe Flacco back, but he's going to take his time looking for a starting gig. Names like Cam Taylor-Britt and Noah Fant likley won't be back.
