The quiet, sudden rise of the Cincinnati Bengals offensive line continues in the background while Joe Burrow and others command the spotlight.
It hasn’t always been perfect under new line coach Scott Peters, yet the Bengals have seen some key rookie development from the likes of rookies Dylan Fairchild and Jalen Rivers this season.
Given the past offensive line woes in Cincinnati, that’s saying something.
The latest strong showing for the Bengals offensive line came under adversity on the road in Baltimore after another quarterback change, too, as illustrated by Gridiron Grading:

Consider that, while trying to break in new starters alongside a new coach, the offensive line went from Joe Burrow to Jake Browning to Joe Flacco and back to Burrow again. Consider they’ve battled injuries. And consider they’ve battled onboarding newcomers on short notice, such as Dalton Risner.
In past years, the Bengals might have struggled with the ghosts of names like Bobby Hart.
But in 2025? The Bengals appear to have stumbled into at least one long-term starting guard and offensive tackle Amarius Mims continues to grasp at his first-round upside.
There are long-term questions about key spots like left tackle and center, perhaps. But this is a far better outlook than expected, considering what the Bengals have put on the field in the trenches over the years since the Andrew Whitworth era.
