We saw it time and time again last season, when the Chicago Bears needed Caleb Williams to step up and make a play, he gave 110%.

It started with the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4.

The Bears were down 24-19 in the fourth quarter, and Williams led a scoring drive to put them up 25-24. Chicago won after a blocked field goal from Josh Blackwell.

Chicago won by the same score in the following game. The Washington Commanders held a 24-22 lead, but the Bears got the ball back, and Williams didn't miss his chance.

He got Jake Moody in position to hit the game-winning field goal.

The entire 2025 season was riddled with fourth-quarter comebacks over teams like the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Bengals, and Green Bay Packers.

Now, there are talks of Williams being a top five quarterback in the league.

Head coach Ben Johnson spoke about it at a recent press conference. He was more concerned with wins than anything else. The head coach did say that if Williams was a top-five quarterback based on wins, he was fully on board.

"What we're all concerned about is winning ballgames," Johnson said. "If that means top five quarterbacks based on wins, then I'm all for it. But that's what we're concerned about, every single week going into the game, finding a way to win that ballgame. I think he proved last year that if the game is close at the end, he's going to go all out and become Superman at times to make some critical plays. That's great. We continue to see his evolution as a quarterback."

Williams made it clear just how good he was last season. If he continues to ascend in year three, there's no doubt that he could be among the upper echelon of quarterbacks.

Analysts like Danny Parkins have already predicted that Williams will be in the hunt for the MVP award this upcoming season.

The young quarterback has already broken a franchise record after just two seasons in the league. What's to say he can't stake his claim as one of the best quarterbacks?

It will take a lot of work, as the NFL is very unforgiving.

However, has all the tools to be in that conversation. Winning is an important stat when it comes to being one of the best at your position.
