It wouldn't be WrestleMania weekend without a surprise or two on the card, and on Saturday night in Las Vegas, former champion Paige made her return to the WWE women's division to team up with Brie Bella.
The Bella Twins were scheduled to take part in a fatal four-way match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on Night 1, but Nikki Bella was not medically cleared to return from an ankle injury.

When the Bellas made their entrance on Saturday night, Nikki used a crutch as she hobbled on stage with a microphone in her hand. She said she didn't want to ruin her sister's WrestleMania moment, so she called an old friend to take her place.
Paige, a two-time Divas champion and the first NXT women's champion, departed WWE in 2022 and spent three years in rival AEW. It was reported this weekend that she had signed a multi-year deal with WWE. Her surprise return got one of the biggest pops of the night from the crowd in Las Vegas.
Paige ended her night wearing gold. After Nikki Bella took out Charlotte Flair with her crutch outside the ring, Paige reversed Alexa Bliss's finisher and hit her signature RamPaige to capture the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship along with Brie Bella.
