The wheels came off in the second and fourth quarters for the Tenino High School boys basketball team, dropping a non-league contest to the NW School by a verdict of 56-38 on Monday night at Brock Court.
Tenino (1-6) only trailed by three after one, but were stymied in the second to just three made field goals. Then after cutting the margin again in the third, it was outscored by eight in the fourth to put the game out of reach.
Senior Henry Czuleger paced the Beavers with 13 points while Kellan Johnson chipped in 10 to go along with five dimes and four rebounds. They will look to nab their second win of the season on Tuesday versus Vashon Island.
