Beau Greaves has become one of the biggest names in darts over the last 12 months, dominating the women's circuit and beating notable names like Luke Littler.
2026 has been her first year in the PDC as an official tour card holder. She's played in many Pro Tour events and has had many impressive campaigns at Players Championship events.
None was better than her historic run on Monday, as she made history at PC11.
Beau Greaves wins emotional final against Michael Smith, becomes first woman to win PDC ranking event
Greaves day started with opening round wins against Aden Kirk, Thomas Lovely and Jeffrey Sparidaans.
She averaged in the mid-to-high 90s in those games, but was able to raise her performance in the later rounds.
A round of 16 win over Karel Sedlacek sent her into a third straight PC event quarterfinal.
She hadn't made it further than that entering today, but made an impressive comeback against Rob Cross to make it through to the semifinals.
She averaged 102.56, beating Rob Cross 6-5, despite Voltage averaging 105.96 himself.
Cross was the first of three world champions she'd beat on her way to a first career PDC ranking title.
Her highest average of the day was in the semifinals against Gary Anderson, as she averaged 105.56, and won by a dominant scoreline of 7-1.
In the final, she faced the 2023 world champion, Michael Smith.
Both players produced averages in the high 90s, and the match went all the way to a last-leg decider.
Greaves left 142 with Smith on 20, and managed to take out a 142 checkout to clinch the event title.
A usually quiet Greaves showed a lot of emotion in the aftermath of her match, as she couldn't believe the personal accomplishment she had just completed.
Greaves, on the verge of tears, said in her post-match interview, "I've had a great year, but I never thought I'd win one of these!"
"I'm so happy I can't even describe the way I feel...it's unbelievable, and I feel so proud of myself," Greaves said.
