Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer was asked about board member for sport Max Eberl’s future and offered a response, which details exactly what the club would be looking at to evaluate the board member for sport.

“We always assess the work of a board member in its entirety, which means, for example, in the case of the board member for sport (Eberl): the composition of the squad, the development of talents at the campus, the cooperation with the coach, the staff, the physios and the doctors, etc. We will look at all of that, analyze it together and then decide,” Hainer told Sport Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).

When asked how much the summer transfer window will play a role in Eberl’s future, Hainer did not deny it.

“As I said: There isn’t just one criterion. However, the transfer window is an important phase for every club – it includes new signings and, of course, departures,” Hainer noted.
